My husband (Mike) and I (Debbie [Beach] Ducker)
have been happily married since 1976. We were
blessed with two sons Simon and Adam.

On Mike’s side there are four brothers: Phil, Tom,
Roger and Steve and one sister Janie.

On my side I have two brothers Robert and Roger
and one sister Linda.

Blessed to the above are numerous children and
grandchildren who we love very much but there
are just too many of you to list here… LOL!

We have sadly lost both parents on Mike’s side
his Mother (Kathryn [McClellon] Ducker in May of
2005 and Father Billy Donald Ducker in April
of 2011 and my Mother (Genevieve [Akers] Beach
as well in September of 2005.

During our married years we were blessed to have
all of the above plus two Grandfathers and four
Grandmothers living and able to see our children.

Mike’s Grandfather on his Dad’s side died in a
farming accident when my husband was a young
boy. And due to circumstances out of the family’s
control, concerning his Grandfather on Mike’s Mother’s
side, sadly kept Mike and his siblings from ever getting
to see him or know him before his death.

They all will forever be remembered with love and
we are all looking forward to seeing them in heaven
one day.

My Father Robert Dean Beach is still with us today
and we live close and get to be in his life quite often.
This has been a real blessing. Mike’s Dad as well
only recently passed on so we too were blessed with
him a good long time.

No Grandchildren for us yet but we are still waiting?

Any way this is just a briefing of the family in
general however you can meet and learn more
about many of them in my Facebook profile:

Here is another one of my articles written at the first of the web 2.0 transition...

Are You Using The Full Potential Of Social Networking?
By Debbie Ducker

With the purchase of YouTube by Google Inc., in 2006, for a whopping $1.65 billion in stock, came the realization of how much clout a social networking site has.

Social networking web sites come in different themes, personal and/or specifically for finding friends or sharing interesting things such as pictures, music, videos, etc.

I.e. MySpace, Facebook, Yuwie, YouTube, Twitter and so on.

Not to mention you can pretty much find one for any niche you are into… From books, cats, dogs to even turning yourself into a 3D image at Zwinky.

Then there are also many social networks popping up specifically geared toward Business and Online Marketing.

I.e. AdlandPro’s Adlander, Ryze, AP Sense, LinkedIn to name a few. And even some of the sites listed above are providing a way for many to promote their business in a way that really gets noticed. Videos for example turned into full blown commercial type presentations. Many that are made interesting enough they capture your attention until the end.

With their rise in popularity there is a good chance that you already belong to one or more online social networking communities.

However, it is one thing to be a community member and another to actually participate in that community.

The first step of learning how to use the full potential of social networking is to familiarize your self with the features offered by each community or communities that you belong to. Then use those features to get the word out about you and your business.

This can only be done by closely examining the web site. You must take the time to figure out how each type of community and its particular features can benefit you and those you invite to join you in that community.

When learning about each social networking community that you belong to, it is also very important that you clearly read and understand the terms of use agreement. This agreement will outline the rules and restrictions for what you can and cannot do within that community. These rules and restrictions may limit the content that you can have on your community site, as well as your pictures, videos, and other media. And even forbidding advertising in many if not all forms.

Many social networking web sites will terminate your membership if you are found violating these agreements. By reading and abiding by all of the rules and restrictions of the social networking web site you belong to, you should be able to ensure that you can continue to use and enjoy the site.

By fully examining the social network you belong to you will also then know each social network’s benefits, features, and services.

In addition to giving you your own profile page and allowing you to invite other Internet users into your network, there are a number of other things that you can do with social networking web sites geared towards business.

Many have created features that include areas to list special offers your business has going, or special services you may provide, the ability to create business related discussion groups, and one of the newest ones even has a handy piece of software that you download on to your computer and are able to read and post bulletins directly to the desktop of other members using the software. Plus it lets you also add your favorite RSS feeds.

By researching each social networking web site, you should easily be able to familiarize yourself with the advantages and disadvantages of each feature or service provided. And, since most social networking web sites are free to use, there are no risks associated with giving the network a try.

So with the many benefits listed, I am sure you see by now , there are a number of different ways to use the full potential of social networking and even more reasons why to take the time to try to learn how to.

The decision is up to you as to whether or not you want to spend the time researching your social networks and everything they offer. But keep in mind, that not doing so can mean that you are missing out not only on all the fun these sites can offer but the huge potential they possibly hold for helping you with your business online.

If you love enchiladas but don't have time to put them together... You will love this recipe!

Enchilada Meat Loaf
from the kitchen of Debbie Ducker

Here is a recipe I created recently and
we fell in love with it… Try it on your
family and see what they think. If you
love enchiladas but don’t always have
the time for them you will love this.

1-1/2 Pounds of Ground Meat
(Venison, Beef, Etc.)

1 Small Onion Finely Chopped

2 Eggs Beaten

1 Cup of Medium Course Yellow Corn Tortilla Chip Crumbs

2 Cups of Your Favorite Enchilada Sauce

2 Cups of Grated Cheddar Cheese

Mix first four ingredients and 1 cup of the enchilada sauce until well combined. Press half of this mixture into a flat baking dish.

(I use a glass 12×2 oval dish.)

Sprinkle half of the cheese evenly over this, leaving some space on the edges for sealing. Gently press second have of meat mixture over this and seal the edges. Bake for about 40 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

(Until cooked through.)

Remove from oven. Pour remaining cup of enchilada sauce over the top and then sprinkle the rest of the cheddar cheese evenly over the top of sauce. Return to oven for 10-15 minutes, until sauces is bubbly and cheese is melted well.

I serve it with salad and tortilla chips for pouring some of the extra sauce over. Very delicious. Can also be spiced up as much as you want. My favorite way is to put finely chopped jalopeno peppers in with the meat mixture.

Awe your Thanksgiving guests with this delectable recipe. Can be made up ahead of time, placed in the pan for rising and freeze. Then take them out late Wednesday night and let them rise in a safe place such as your oven or microwave.

Click the link below for frozen pumpkin instructions:

http://www.debbieducker.com/cooking/cook-up-some-home-made-pumpkin-apple-butter

1 Cup of frozen pumpkin (thawed)

1 Small onion (chopped)

1/2 to 1 Teaspoon of dried oregano and basil (according to taste)

1/8 Cup + 1 Tablespoon of quality vegetable oil

1/2 Teaspoon of salt

1 Tablespoon of sugar

1 Large egg (optional – but replace with 1/4 cup of water or egg replacer if left out)

2-1/4 Teaspoons of fast rising yeast (1 package)

1 Cup of whole wheat flour

Up to 3 – 1/2 cups of unbleached white flour

Saute onion in the tablespoon of oil. Almost to carmelized but not quite. Add oregano and basil. Saute about a of couple minutes more. Add pumpkin. Heat another couple of minutes to warm the pumpkin good, but not too hot. Remove from heat.

In a large bowl, mix well the salt, sugar, yeast, oil and egg. Add the warm pumpkin mixture (not over 110 degrees). Mix well. Add the 1 cup of whole wheat flour. Stir with a wooden spoon until smooth. Mix in up to 3-1/2 cups of unbleached flour half a cup at a time until you have a smooth workable dough.

Divide into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a round roll shape. Place in a 9×13 inch metal cake pan that has been greased or sprayed with cooking spray. Let rise 30 to 40 minutes. Bake in 375 degree oven for 18-20 minutes. Enjoy and remember if you are making these ahead of time, put them in the freezer or refigerator before they rise.
